Shona Macmillan

The business was founded in 1991 by Shona Macmillan and Mark Ryder, and quickly grew a client base based on traditional print - designing and producing marketing material for companies such as logos, letterheads, business cards, marketing brochures, newsletters and full colour magazines. We also dealt with data capture, data cleaning, data manipulation and database development for direct marketing campaigns, dealing with ad agencies, printers and data bureaux. In the late 90s we started to create our first websites for clients. By 2000, we took the decision to change the focus of our business entirely to the internet and blue spark was born. Over our 22 years in business, we have built up a reputation for designing and developing cost effective websites for clients local to us in Sevenoaks, Kent and South East England, as well as multinational companies throughout the UK and Europe. We also develop for and maintain a number of household-name clients.
